Kumara swami (Chakravarti) is an irresponsible care -free guy, son of a landlord (Kota srinivaasa Rao). One day he comes across a girl Anjali (Saakshi shivanand) and falls in love with her in seconds. He along with his uncle-cum friend (sudhakar) do chase and tease her as usual to their habit. After some mischievous turns she also comes in to the same path. Suddenly his father decides that he should marry the girl, who is the daughter of his childhood friend (Chandramohan). So to not to marry the bride of his fathers choice, uncle-never pair along with their another friend (Brahmanandam) do laugh of silly things. But ultimately the bride behind the scenes comes out be Anjali herself. The situation becomes such that father pairs, the lover everyone goes for the swords on each other. Kumaraswami try to explain the situation to Anjali and her father, but they are not at all ready to hear him. His father also understands what exactly happened unknowingly, but not ready to compromise as a lot of damage is done top the both side. Kumaraswamy to obey both families tries a lot of out of ways, one of which is he changes himself to a self made man suddenly.
