A stale tale, the story is about Radhakrishna (Nitin) who is a happy go lucky guy and he does not seem to bother much about what the future is and how it should be planned. Two reasons- one, he happens to be the son of the police commissioner Nagendra Naidu (Nagababu) and two, he is the darling son of his mother Sarala (Kovai Sarala) who pampers him to the core and wants to see him as a film star for some strange reason. Things take a turn when the Home Minister announces that law abiding and honest citizens are now allowed to come and join the police force. A twist of events takes place and Radhakrishna ends up at the police academy that is being headed by a lady police officer (Ramya Krishna). Among the lot is Krishnaveni (Bhavana) and Radhakrishna chances upon her as a colleague. The real trouble begins when a news channel reveals that Krishnaveni is actually a naxalite. Is that true? Does Radhakrishna do something about it? What makes him join the academy? All this forms the rest of the story.
