The film revolves around teenagers who are just 15 and 16. About those two who have finsihed intermediate and are getting into degree. Both the hero and heroine are new comers and the director tries to run the show with these two, which turns out to be a dam squib because both look very amateurish. Nandini played by Gayatri is the daughter of Ramapuram Zamindar Ramachandra Rao. Raju played Rajiv is the poor guy, who is the son of Ramachandra Rao's wife's childhood friend played by Surekha Vani.

Raju's mother dies in a fire accident and from then he grows up in the shelter of Nandini's family. Both Nandini and Raju grow as good friends from childhood. As they grow older, love sprouts between them. Nandini's father cannot accept his daughter loving a poor guy. He tries to get her married for another rich man's son. Nandini ends up her life. Raju also ends up his life.
