handra Mohan is a librarian married to a school teacher, Jayasudha. They live with their extended family along with Chandramohan's father, Suthi Velu. Chandra Mohan and Jayasudha work hard and support the whole family. One day Suthi Velu brings a child from an orphanage and requests Chandra Mohan and Jayasudha to adopt him, as they can't have children. The couple adopt the child. Later on Jayasudha comes to know that the child is none other than the son of her distant relative Bhagyasri, who came to live with them for some time and one of the family member is the real father of the child. How Jayasudha finds the real father of the child forms the crux of the story
