Devayya is an unmarried man and Chinnababu is his one and only nephew who is pampered a lot by Devayya. Chinnababu loves and respects Devayya a lot and never goes against his word. One fine day Devayya decides get Chinnababu married but on one condition and that Chinnababu goes to a village called Mailavaram and meets Venkata Bhupathi's daughter and impress her without introducing himself as his nephew. So, Chinnababu reaches Mailavaram and enters their house as a servant. Even with all the silly things he does, she starts to like Chinnababu. One day at an event, there's a fire accident and our hero comes into action and saves the lives of the people. She is impressed with his heroic acts and she expresses her love to him. Even her parents accept their union and start to arrange their wedding. Devayya then enters the wedding hall and stops the wedding and drags Chinnababu away from there. This is where the story takes a twist and the real plot begins to emerge.
