He has two sons, Bhushan and Krishna ( Vishnu Manchu) . While Krishna is an obedient and intelligent guy, Bhushan is an arrogant, cruel and crooked son. Naturally, Anna Garu doesn’t like Bhushan and mistreats him.
This is exploited by some powerful enemies of Anna Garu ( Industrialist KR, Vedantham Murthy and Jeeva). Anna Garu is against their plan of coming up with a major project in the area and they entice Bhushan with promises of power and money, to kill Anna Garu. This has unexpected consequences. What happens next? Will Anna Garu survive? That forms the story of ‘Rowdy’

Ram Gopal Varma has taken story from his Sarkar and weaved a different screenplay for Rowdy keeping Telugu audience in mind. He has also added a few commercial ingredients to it. It is good entertainer and will be a treat for action lovers. Must watch film for Mohan Babu fans

Right from the word go, RGV has got things in the right place. Although the technical values of the movie are not worth mentioning, RGV’s screenplay and characterization steals the show.
The story has nothing new to provide. It is more like a mash up of#Sarkar and #Sarkar raj. The protagonist anna is the leader of the massesin rayalseema who has two sons, bhushan and Krishna(Vishnu). Bhushan is an arrogant guy and is mistreated by anna for that reason. People with vested political interests try to manipulate Bhushan and exploit the situation. They conspire to take anna out of their way. The rest of the story deals with how Krishna thwarts those plans. This would be the best performance from mohan babu in over a decade. RGV made sure that his acting capabilities are utilized to the maximum possible extent. Rowdy is a relief for Vishnu who had been donning comic roles off late. His acting skills did improve. #Jayasudha was at her usual best and#TanikellaBharani invoked few laughs. Shanvi was cute and her acting was just ok. Others were decent. The music is a letdown. Except for seema lekka, all other songs are not worth mentioning and BGM is very loud at places. The weird camera angles used by RGV off late are thankfully missing. Instead he concentrated on penning some powerful one liners and tight screenplay making the narrative very gripping.
