Director SV Krishna Reddy, on an apparent comeback trail with Yamaleela 2, will have his film's audio launched in the Hyderabad city premises on October 26. The venture, also boasting of music by the maker himself, not being a literal extension of the Ali-Indraja starrer by any means, will however retain the theme of Yamaraju and Chitragupta landing up on earth to accomplish a mission.

Mohan Babu reprises the legendary Kaikala Satyanarayana for the role of Yama while newcomers Satish, who's also producing the film, and Diah shall play the on-screen love couple.

"The story has nearly nothing to relate with Yamaleela. The plot has been significantly altered. The film has shaped up well and am sure that the audiences will receive it well," said the director, who has worked on prominent films like Maavichiguru, Aahvaanam, Shubhalagnam and Egire Paavurama in the past. Yamaleela 2, currently in post-production phase, is scheduled for a release in November.
