After the superb success of Vijay-starrer “Kaththi” in Tamil, the Telugu Producers have shown keen interest to remake the film in Telugu.

Speculations were rife that “Kaththi” could be remade in Telugu and Power Star Pawan Kalyan is the top contender in the list. Even a special screening has been arranged for Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday night by Tagore Madhu, who bought the Telugu dubbing rights of the movie.

Even though, Pawan liked the movie, he did not give his nod for the remake of ‘Kaththi’, as he believed that the timing is incorrect. As the story of the movie is based on the farmers issue, he felt that it would adversely affect the plans of building the Capital City in AP. So, he doesn’t want to take any decision that would send the message of being anti-Government among the people at the present situation.

As a result, according to the sources, the Telugu dubbed ‘Kaththi’ which is scheduled to hit the screens on October 31st would release on November 21st.
