Raja Cheyyi Veste (2016) Raja Ram (Nara Rohit) is a wannabe film director who’s sole aim is to direct a script that he has written. He is also in a relationship with Chaitra (Isha Talwar), who is a software employee. On the other hand, Vijay Manik (Tarakaratna) is a cruel murderer who is feared even by the politicians. One fine day, two unknown persons try to assassinate Vijay, and while one gets shot and killed, the other escapes. Vijay vows to kill the person who escaped. As time passes by, Raja Ram gets a letter from an unknown person claiming to be a star director who tells him that he is impressed by his script and to test his caliber, asks him to write a climax for a movie that he is currently shooting. Raja Ram agrees to this and does the needful. Impressed by the climax sent by Raja Ram, the director surprises Raja by sending him a gun and a photo of Vijay Manik and blackmails him to kill the dreaded murderer. Who is this star director? Why does he want Raja to kill Vijay ? What is the relation between Raja Ram and Vijay Manik? Will Raja manage to kill Vijay? These questions form the crux of the story..

Very good movie. Worth watching. I have watched it today, 1st May. May be there were few lag scenes. Now the movie looked very practical and logical. Go watchit, Rohith and all characters did really good justification.

Nice and entertaining movie. the way of story narrated is good comparatively to the recent movies. the characters can be shown much better to elevate them but this was covered with the decent enough twists. music is so so... it doesn't helped the director to highlight his way of story telling. overall it is good entertaining film with good enough twists and thrills.

Attempt was good. script wise movie is top good. there are instances where there is a fault from the director in terms of screenplay but over all the movie is good. Tarak played a vital role in the 2nd half. over all the movie could have been much better.

One of the most anticipated movie in Nara Rohit’s Career Raja Cheyyi Veste movie is all set to hit the screens on today (29-04-2016). Raja Cheyyi Vesthe is an India Telugu film directed by debutante Pradeep and produced by Sai Korrapati under Varahi Chalana Chitram. Starring Nara Rohit and Isha Talwar are playing the lead roles in the movie. Nara Rohit who is very familiar with choosing a different kind of subjects every time but his career not in high mode. His last two releases “Tuntari” and “Savitri” ended with a dud at the box office and now he is pinning a lot of hopes on “Raja Cheyyi Veste”.

Nara Rohit’s recent two movies bombed giving him a bad name. So “Raja Cheyyi Vesthe” didn’t raise much expectations but the film attracted attention due to the presence of Nandamuri Tarak Ratna.

Stylized taking is main highlight. Bhaskar Samala’s cinematography is contemporary which has given the movie a distinct look. Sai Kartheek’s music is okay. Editing is not consistent, the movie has many dips in its pace. Action stunts are good.

On the whole, Raja Cheyyi Veste is a mind-game thriller that manages to impress in bits. Even though the casting is spot on and the twists are interesting, the overall narration and story manages to overshadow the positives making it just an average affair this weekend.

As it turns out, Raja Cheyyi Vesthe gets completely derailed from its tracks, or rather, there were no tracks to even begin with. With an almost nonexistent story this film shows why you shouldn’t further stretch an already creatively-exhausted point. RCV aspired to be quite a lot of things at once, and sets its eyes on being a thriller, a romantic – comedy and even an action caper at times. It successfully ends up being none of these, and could at best be considered a tremendously lethargic flick that quite leisurely takes its time for letting things fall into place. All in all, Raja Cheyyi Vesthe – yet another weak film from Nara Rohit. - Survi
