savitri (2016) Savitri (Nanditha) is mad about weddings. She wants get married to anybody as she is dying to see her own marriage ceremony. When her elder sister gets married, her father (Murali) and uncle (Ajay) start searching for an alliance. And they come to know that a doctor is good match for her and ask him to see his daughter. On the happy mood, Savitri heads to Shirdi by train from Vishakapatnam. On the train she meets a guy Rishi (Nara Rohit) who is a doctor and he falls in love with her immediately. She doesn't encourage his love tease but has soft corner for him. When he proposes her seriously, she rejects him and heads to her home. Then the drama moves to her home..

just a time pass movie those who are interested in treditional marriages so go and watch the movie and those who are expected comedy in the movies u will get dspntmnt bcz comedy was not upto the mark.

first half was so good and a good play with posani and few comedians... and second half was too bored and there should be some stuff in the climax...!! but I didn't find any feelings love, romance, affection... from rohit..

nice but first half slow narration overall the movie was good family entertainment and comedy and nice love scenes also good twist in interval block and second half is beautiful comedy bits finally the movie was good...

“Savitri” does not boasts of an offbeat story. It joins the long list of films that had a lot of potential but could not live up to it. A few comedy scenes and witty lines don’t make a good film. In the end, it just left one feeling tired. Not what you expect from a frothy family drama. - survi
