yamapasham (2016) Set in Ooty, Yamapasham starts off with a toxic chemical leak in a factory. When the workers fail to clean-up or notify the authorities, the leak which turns out to be an deadly zombie virus slowly spreads to the humans. On the other hand, Karthik (Jayam Ravi) is a sincere traffic police officer whose life is thrown upside down when his sister gets kidnapped during the time this virus spreads all over the city. Parallel to this, a group of doctors including Renuka (Lakshmi Menon) are trying to find a cure for this deadly virus. The events that take place after the virus leak and how the lead pair’s path crosses each other and how they manage to solve this problem makes up for the rest of the story..

a perfect time pass stuff...good acting and script...u'll enjoy the movie if you don't compare it with Hollywood...decent performances, narration and script, perfect background score. heroine is big minus for the movie...last 20 mins was much dragged...don't apply much logic and u will enjoy the movie...one time watch and a perfect time-killer...will rate it 3/5

Jayam Ravi rocks! He gives outstanding performance. Lakshmi Menon was very beautiful. The movie was average. The second half of the movie was too dragged and story is very little. Just the plot was dragged for about 2 hours. It wont bore you, but there is nothing you feel. Climax was too dragged. But at the end you get a feeling to watch the second part. Waiting for the second part hopefully it will solve the unanswered questions in the first part. I will go with 3/5 for the effort. A can-be-watched entertainer.
