Raj Kumar (Chiranjeevi), a Choreographer, falls in love with Shanti (Simran) and marries her. Shanti gives birth to Akshaya (baby Akshaya). Akshaya is very fond of her daddy. Raj loves his daughter but also is very fond of his friends. He gives surety for a Chit Fund Company of his friend. His friend ditches Raj and his entire property is confiscated. Later on, it is revealed that Akshaya is having a heart disease. Raj needs Rs. 4 lakhs to get Akshaya operated and all his friends hesitate to help him with the money. Ultimately Raj lands up in jail after confrontation with a friend who ditched him. Meanwhile, Akshaya at hospital expires. Shanti blames Raj for the demise of their kid. Shanthi leaves Raj and decides to live alone. Few years later, Raj sees a who is an Akshaya look-alike. The rest of the story is about who the girl is and how he gets back with his wife.
