Chari (Venu) wants to become a police officer. He will be striving to achieve his ambition. On the other end, a Bhai, staying in a jail, plans to eliminate CM Harishchandra Prasad(Balayya). Chari spoils Bhai’s efforts to kill CM without his knowledge. Commissioner Chadda (Murali Sharma) collides with Bhai in CM’s murder plan. He finds out that Chari is spoiling the attempts on CM. By developing a grudge on Chari, he spoils Chari’s efforts to get into police. He humiliates Chari and scornfully asks, whether Chari is a hero to save CM. Hurt by Commissioner’s humiliating remark, Chari decides to become a hero. He sets up a detective agency Chari & Co and works to trace the gang which wants to kill CM.
