Lawyer The Great is the story of an unfortunate man Sundaram (Jaishankar), wrongly jailed for a murder he has not committed. Sundaram is one of the most respectable person in the society. His growing popularity is envied by the local political goon, Paramasivam (Nagesh). He seizes an opportunity to send him behind bars, when Sundaram's brother's wife, dies an unnatural death. How the lawyer Raja (Mamooty), fights this case, and brings to light the shocking truth, forms the remaining part of the story.
