Deepak (Dharmendra) is an honest and hard-working youth living with his widowed mother and younger brother Suresh. He enters a wrestling match, vanquishing the monstrous Jabbar and gets crowned the champion. Wealthy business tycoon, Jwalaprasad (Madan Puri) is impressed by Deepak and appoints him for the job of his driver. Jwalaprasad's daughter Chandni (Leena Chandavarkar) falls in love with Deepak and they get married. But their marriage irks an egoist Jwalaprasad who along with his trust-worthy man, Shyam (Vinod Khanna) plot to ruin Deepak's life.
