Gouravam is one of the best movies I watched recently. Sirish makes a decent debut, his character doesn't demand a lot of acting skills, he's not great, but he doesn't look awkward either on the screen. Yami is cute and performs as the character demands.

Actors who acted as arrogant villagers including Brahmaji acted very well. Prakash Raj is good in the role of a respectable old man who has a strong community feeling. The guy who acted as the side-kick of Sirish has good comic timing.

Radha Mohan succeeds in keeping the audience glued to the screen despite the slow pace, little romance, few songs and few action sequences. The way characters are developed and finer details are revealed to the audience is good.

I am not sure why this movie did not receive the reception it deserves, but it is definitely worth a watch for the storyline, screenplay, direction and message the movie conveyed.

Go for it!!
