Many of us listen & love to listen good old day's songs, songs of 60's & 70's. And many of us feel & wish we have the songs like those, with so much meaning in them & so much soothing to ears to hear, in our present times. But 'Youth Goddess' Samantha feels & wishes that she had born in those black & white times after hearing the classics. "Listening to old Telugu songs on the radio...divine...sometimes I wish I was born in the black and white era..", she tweets. She also felt of hitting a jackpot when songs from classic 'Mayabazaar' were played when she was hearing the old songs on radio, "Ooooo songs of mayabazaar on... Jackpot...", She tweets.
We, as audience, thank god didn't fulfill her wish of being born in those black & white times, otherwise we wouldn't have the chance of watching this 'beauty' performing for us.

The shooting of upcoming movie of Jr.Ntr, under the direction of Harish Shankar, which is recently titled as 'Ramayya Vastavayya', is being done at brisk pace. Shruthi Haasan, one of the female lead has joined the 'Ramayya Vastavayya' movie team in Hyderabad for shooting. And it seems she is very impressed with the environment at the shooting spot & with the team. "It's always such a pleasure to work on a fun set where work gets done well and people care about you Thankyou so much", she said on Twitter. Responding to her tweet, Harish Shankar replied her saying "Awesome Job ... Honoured with your tweet ..... :-) its even more pleasure to work with you ;".
The movie is said to be a high voltage movie with an equal dosage of both entertainment and action.

Charmi reveals that she will be seen in a cameo role in an upcoming movie, 'Saradaga Ammaitho', featuring Sandeep Kishan and Nisha Agarwal as the lead pair. The audio of the movie was released just couple of days back. Talking about the cameo role in the movie she also revealed her perception, she is having over the years, on playing cameo roles over the years. "Hi friends .. I m glad to announce tat i have done a cameo in #sardagaAmmaitho. Cameo is sumthing i was never interested to do in my past", she tweets. She also said she has no plans of doing cameo roles in near future. "N i doubt if i vil do in my near future too ... It is an energetic role fr few mins in 2 nd half", she tweets. She says director Bhanu Shankar & producer Pattikonda Kumara Swamy have convinced her to do this cameo role and she hopes that her role helps the movie in a positive way. "thanks to d producer n director for gettin me convinced to do dis .. I m happy vit d outcome so far .. N hope dis Cameo appearance of mine makes atlst small little difference for d film ... Hindi actor, director & writer, Farhan Akthar's great initiative "MARD" has got the support of Telugu Super Star Mahesh Babu. After the henious crimes & atrocities on women are continously being reported from various places of the country every day by the media, Farhan Akthar felt the need of starting a campaign to spread the awareness about these inhuman incidents taking place in the country and to fight against them. "MARD" stands for 'Men Against Rape And Discrimination'. Farhan Akthar's father, one of the finest Hindi movie writer, has written a poem for the campaign. The poem is being translated to other languages. When Mahesh Babu was asked to lend his voice for the Telugu translation of the poem, given his popularity among Telugu audience, the actor has agreed to do so. The recording of the poem reciting in Telugu by Mahesh Babu will be completed soon in Hyderabad.

The movie is reported to be shot in the extreme wather conditions of Georgia for 40 days and the scenes shot in Georgia are said to be the highlights of the movie.Harish Jayaraj is composing the music to the movie.

As we already reported Manchu Vishnu is in Slovania for the shooting for his two upcoming movies. One of them, titled as 'Doosukeltha', features, 'Andhala Rakshashi' fame Lavanya as the lead actress the other features Hansika as the lead actress. For the last few days, two songs of 'Doosukeltha' movie were shot in & around Slovenia. Now, Hansika joins Vishnu for the shooting of his other movie. The upcoming movie 'Adda', featuring Sushanth & Shanvi playing the lead roles, is shifted to Switzerland for the shooting of the two songs which are remained to be shot. With the completion of the shooting of these two songs, the entire shooting of the movie will be completed. The movie is directed by Sai Karthik and jointly produced by Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao and A.Naga Susheela under the banner of Sri Nag Corp. The two songs are expected to shot within the next 10 days. A promo song was released couple of days ago and on the occasion of the promo song release, the producer Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao has said that the movie will be a big break for Sushanth, which he is expecting to get. 'Pelli Pusthakam', which is directed by Ramakrishna Macchukanti, has completed it's censor works. The movie is jointly produced by D.Nagireddy, B.V.Gopal and P.Suman under the banner of Lakshmi Narasimha Cine Visions banner. Rahul Ravindran, 'Andhala Raksashi' fame is pairing up with Nithi Taylor, 'Memu Vayasuku Vacham' fame. The movie is expected to hit the screens very soon. Announcing this to the media, the director has said that "many love stories will end with the marriages but some love stories begin with the marriages. Some of those stories that I've seen in my real life are being picturised beautifully in this movie. The censor has been completed and we are planning to release the movie in the second week of May. Our lead pair is a pleasure to look at". Along with the lead pair, Anil, Yasaswini, Nagineedu, Desanandi & Kasi Vishwanath are some of the important cast in the movie. Sekhar Chandra is the music director of the movie.

Celebrating the 100 year of Indian Cinema, Postal Department of Indian Government has released 50 new stamps remembering 50 great personalities that have helped the Indian Cinema to be where it is now. Hon.President. Pranab Mukherjee, on May 3 released the 50 stamps in the form of six miniature sheets as a philatelic tribute to the centenary of Indian Cinema, these stamps portray all-time greats from the fields of acting, direction and music. And three of our own Telugu personalities have been honoured by releasing stamps on them. The three Telugu personalities are Allu Ramalingaiah, Bhanumati and S.V.Ranga Rao, who were been great to the Telugu Film.
