It looks the movies of 'King' Nagarjuna some how missing the initially announced release date, it's happened with 'Damarukam' and now with his latest project 'Greeku Veerudu'. According to the latest news from the production team, the movie has been post-poned further and the new release date is given as May 3rd. According to the soruces working closely with the project, Dasari Narayana Rao has played an important role in the post-ponement of 'Greeku Veerud' citing the Victory Venkatesh's "Shadow" releasing on the same day of Aprel 26th. Venkatesh's "Shadow" has already post-ponement two times, it was supposed to be released at the end of March but post-poned to Ugaadi but again post-poned to Aprile 26th. And according to the latest reports, 'Shadow' is well on it's course to be released on 26th of this month. Dasari Narayana Rao, who has taken the distribution rights of 'Greeku Veerudu' in Nizam, Ceded, Guntur, East Godavari and Overseas, along with his son who will be releasing the movie in Tamilnadu, has had a talk with the producers of both movies 'Greeku Veerudu' & 'Shadow' and came to a final decision to release the 'Greeku Veerudu' on May 3rd. His closed sources telling that he arrived to this decision as he felt two movies from two big stars of the tollywod being released on the same day not good for the movies as well as for the industry. He is able to convince the 'Greeku Veerudu' with this reason in post-poning the movie to May 3rd.

The movie is directed by Dasarath and produced by D.Sivaprasad. Along with the lead pair, Nagarjuna and Nayanatara, Meera Chopra plays a key role in this film. Music is provided by Thamman and the response to the audio as well as the trailers that are being released is huge.
