Thotempudi Venu, who is known perfectly timed witty dialogues, is playing male lead role after a long gap. The new movie which he is playing the male lead is 'Ramachari' which goes with a tagline of 'Eedo Pedda Gudachari'. It's been four two long years, since he was seen in a male lead role, the last time he played a hero role was in 'Mayagadu' in 2011. His upcoming movie 'Ramachari' is slated for a release of May 17th. Venu is reported to be playing a secret agent role in this movie, which is based on the Malayalam super hit movie 'CID'. The movie is said to be a complete commedy entertainer. Kamalini Mukherjee will be seen as the lead actress in the movie opposite to Venu. Venu is confident of the success of the movie and also hoping it will be big step in the process of kickstarting his movie career once again.

Along with the lead pair of Venu & Kamalini Mukherjee, Brahmanandam, Ali, L.B.Sri Ram, Raghubabu and Giribabu are to be seen playing some important roles in the movie. The movie is drected by Eeswar Reddy and music is provided by Manisharma
