The sequel to the Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam is all set to start it's shooting from this week onwards in Thailand. The movie is currently know with his working title 'Vishwaroopam - 2'. The original movie 'Vishwaroopam', is center stand of attraction for reasons of both on & off screen. There were lot of controversies surrounded it, so much so that at one point, Kamal Haasan said he would be leaving the country forever. The movie was banned in Tamil Nadu and before that the movie was delayed in getting released thanks to the standoff between Kamal Haasan and Theater owners because of Kamal Haasan's decision to telecast a premier show over DTH. The movie was also in the talks for it's high technical values & exceptional taking, as much as it's offscreen controversies. Whole film faternity stood up on the side of Kamal Haasan during the controversies. And the performances of all the artists in the movie, especially of Kamal Haasan, were hailed by one and all. The movie featured Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose and Sekhar Kapur along with the Kamal Haasan, and all the cast of the original to continue work in the sequel too. As it was already reported by us, Kamal Haasan had the plans of making a sequel to the Vishwaroopam during the days of making it. Hence he had shot an hour or so extra story during the making of original 'Vishwaroopam' itself.

Kamal Haasan is also expected to be producing the sequel too, apart from directing & preparing scrip to it, just as he did with the original movie. Shankar-Eshan-Loy will be providing the music to the movie.
