Allari Naresh, who is known for his perfectly timed comedy action and wonderful comedy movies, will be seen for the first time in a 3D movie, with his upcoming movie 'Action - 3D'. 'Action - 3D', is the first Indian comedy movie ever been shot in 3D format. Talking about his experience acting for the first time in a 3D format movie, Allari Naresh has shared an interesting incident took place during the shooting of the movie. He said "Since 3D Camera doesn't have a zoom in option, we have to be just three feet away from the camera for a close up shot. For one of the action scene, I have taken 78 retakes, because I had to jump six feet in the air to land a punch that'll end exactly 3 feet from the camera. For that scene alone, I had to shoot from 8 pm to 6 am and took 78 retakes.

Along with Allari Naresh, Raju Sundaram, Shyam, Vaibhav, Neelam Upadhyaya, Sneha Ullal, Sheena, Kamna Jethmalani, Ritu Barmecha and Sudeep are playing some important roles in the movie. The movie is directed by Anil Sunkara and made by Anil Sunkara himself, while the music is composed by Bappi Lahari and back ground score is given by S.S.Thaman.
