Superstar and international icon, Priyanka Chopra, who recently forayed into production and announced her home production Purple Pebble Productions ,took her first step in supporting regional cinema in India with her Bhojpuri film , Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi.

Priyanka who is in India for a month to fulfil her professional commitments , flew to Patna this week for the press conference of her Bhojpuri film Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi ,which is all set to release in 10 centres across the country on the 10th June.

Later in the day, Priyanka was also honored and felicitated by Sri Shiv Chandar Ram on behalf of the government of Bihar.

Says a source, "Priyanka has always wanted to promote regional cinema and she thought what better way than to produce a regional film under her banner. She is took time out of her schedule to travel to Patna for the premiere and press conference of the film, which has already set several benchmarks in the Bhojpuri industry".
