Naandhi (2021) Surya (Allari Naresh) is an IT employee leading a happy life till he’s marked as a suspect in a high-profile murder case. As an under-trial prisoner, he doesn’t just have to prove his innocence in court; he also has to face abuse in custody. Advocate Aadhya (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) takes up the case, fresh off law school. How the duo manages to navigate rough waters forms the tale. Police brutality is an issue not taken seriously in our country, especially when Tollywood often glorifies the idea of encounters and non-judicial killings. Naandhi takes the opposite route and showcases what we as a society lose when innocent people are punished by the system. Both the cast and crew of the film deserve applauds for bringing forth a subject that’s less explored in this film industry..

Naandhi deals with the section 211 of Indian Penal Code. Plus points of the film are realistic story and Allari Naresh performance. On the flipside, the screenplay in the second half is too convenient. This film surely gives a huge breather for Allari Nar.

These kind of films go well on OTT platforms. It has to be seen how this can perform in theaters. Bottom-line: Honest content but no narrative grip.

`Naandhi` is a kind of relaunch for Allari Naresh. He is simply outstanding in a highly demanding character and held the film together despite its share of flaws. The 1st half of the film is especially appealing and the 2nd is decent with an impactful but.

A hefty politician being the mastermind is expected. The whole reason for murdering Raja Gopal is totally disappointing. Framing Surya Prakash in Raja Gopal’s murder is also not convicing enough. Predictable scenes in the second half mar the film. These .

On the whole, Naandhi is a hard-hitting film and also an educational one for people of India who are unaware of many useful sections. The film will definitely amaze those who enjoy serious subjects and courtroom dramas..

Naandhi is an honest attempt that does justice for the title. Allari Naresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are brilliant in their roles . This appreciable attempt may need commercial support from audience which is doubtful due to the serious tone of the film..

On the whole, Naandhi is a dark and interesting courtroom drama with a good premise. Allari Naresh shocks everyone with his career-best performance and carries the film on his shoulders. Barring a slow second half and a rushed-up climax, this film has imp.

The thing with Naandhi is that it is a tight slap on the legislative, executive, judiciary and the fourth estate. But where the slaps land harder is on the audience that often hoots and whistle as non-judicial punishments are meted out both on and off-scr.
