Mosagallu (2021)
Anu (Kajal Aggarwal) and Arjun (Manchu Vishnu) are siblings and they are born in poverty. They dream of earning big in life. They come up with a formula that cheating the rich is never a crime. Arjun works in a call centre and is well bonded with his boss Sandeep Reddy (Navdeep). Anu, Arjun and Sandeep join hands for the biggest ever scam. They earn thousands of crores which gets traced by the USA government. The rest of Mosagallu is all about the scam of Rs 2600 crores and what happens next. On the whole, Mosagallu is a boring film with not much interesting or exciting elements. A good subject was wasted completely due to weak writing and pathetic taking. Even technical team too comes up with mediocre work.

All in all, “Mosagallu” is a tepid con thriller with uneven moments. Despite the potential in the story, the makers missed the opportunity to make it a nail biting thriller.

On the whole, Sashi is a romantic drama that has a decent story. But the narration is jaded and the conflict point is not that strong. Due to this, the scenes look dull and are forced. Barring the solid performances of the lead pair, this film has nothing.

Mosagallu is a good attempt by Vishnu Manchu and the rest of the team to bring forth a less-explored genre in Tollywood. However, to an audience that has access to global content & has seen such films before, a gripping narrative is what they’ll miss..
