Thellavarithe Guruvaram (2021) Much against his wishes, Veeru (Sri Simha), who is in love with a doctor (Chitra Shukla), agrees to tie the knots with his father chosen girl, Madhu (Misha). Hours before the wedding night, Veeru jumps out of the wall of the wedding hall, only to find that his bride is also running away. Will they stay back and get married, or run away?.

Except for Satya’s hilarious acting, “Thellavarithe Guruvaram” makes us feel to say, “Tondarlo Tellarithe Bagundu, O Panaipothundi”. It lacks excitement, or entertainment, and engagement. Bottom-line: Chacchindi Gorre.

On whole, Tellavarithe Guruvaram has got a simple story that lacks variation in presenting. The comedy manages to make us laugh at times, but the routine main line could not make better use of it. Tellavarithe Guruvaram can be watched in theaters, but wat.

All in all, Thellavarithe Guruvaram is a below average flick with an outdated story. However, Satya and Harsha’s comedy works well. Kaala Bhairava’s BGM is other big asset of the film.

‘Thellavarithe Guruvaram’ is a silly rom-com. Towards the climax, the hero says they would reach the destination in 20 minutes, hinting at the ending of the movie as well. After that dialogue, we are made to watch 45 minutes of the dull proceedings. Y.

On the whole, Thellavarithe Guruvaram is a film that has a good premise and decent performances. But the conflict points are not elevated well and due to this, the film gets boring and slow in many areas. If rom-coms are your forte, give this film a shot .

With characters like Veerendra, Madhu and Krishnaveni, the film has scope to be a gripping, light-hearted rom-com. But the director falters when it comes to lending the story some depth, or even at making it engaging. Give this one a chance for the actors.
