Wild Dog (2021)
Vijay Varma(Nagarjuna) is a suspended NIA officer who is brought Back to take up a special mission of nabbing the terrorist who planned bomb blasts at Gokul chat and Lumbini Park in Hyderabad. Vijay Varma takes up the mission and even traces the terrorists. But things are not that easy as the connection gets established in Nepal. So, how an Indian officer along goes to Nepal and nabs the terrorist is the story of Wild Dog..

On the whole, Wild Dog is a niche film and made with conviction. Nagarjuna is known for encouraging the new talent and he is one of the big heroes who doesn’t shy away from attempting different genres. Sometimes these attempts succeed and some other tim.

Production values by Matinee Entertainments are laudable. Producers Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy deserve appreciation for selecting and engagingly backing content-driven films on their Matinee Entertainments banner. The films from their banner are diff.

Wild Dog` is a Mixed bag with Action working well but without the required thrills to take it to the next level. The 1st half of the film is a little underwhelming but the 2nd somewhat makes up for it. Action Episodes and Sound Track make it worth a watch.

f you are looking for something different from the routine and formulaic Telugu movie stories, this might work to an extent. Despite some issues, the engaging second half has made “Wild Dog” watchable.
Bottom-line: No barks, Only Bites.
