In an overview, Pelli SandaD is a outdated romantic love drama that fails to impress the audience in every aspect. Though Roshan and Sree Leela make a good pair, the ages old storyline and treatment makes Pelli SandaD a disappointing watch during this festival season. The film entirely belongs to MM Keeravani. “Gandharva Lokala”, “Madhura Nagarilo” and “Premante Enti” are beautiful to watch on screen. Keeravani gives his trademark melodious tunes..

Gowri Ronanki, Roshan, Sree Leela's Pelli SandaD pales in comparison or without comparison to Raghavendra Rao, Srikanth's Pellisandadi. Raghavendra Rao who supervised the direction of Pelli SandaD seems to have got stuck with the 90s style of making and Gowri Ronanki failed to put her point across in the changing environment. This resulted in an outdated and obsolete product and had Pelli SandaD released during 90s also , it would have met the same disappointing fate..
