Guvva Gorinka (2020)
Sadanand(Satyadev) is a mechanical engineer who wants to invent a soundless vehicle. On the other hand, Siresha(Priya Lal) is a musician who comes to Hyderabad to do her Masters’s. They live in adjoining flats and somehow stumble upon each other by talking from their homes. They don’t see each other but keep talking for a long time. This casual conversation develops into friendship and eventually, they fall in love. What happened to them in the course of time forms the story of the film..

The real challenge for anybody that streams this film is to watch it in a single go. We feel like breaking that freaking wall between the lead pair so that this mess ends quickly. Wish the wall was immediately broken when the heroine first stepped into that apartment. It could have been much better if that wall wasn’t built and this film wasn’t made in the first place..

Some might argue that Guvva Gorinka is a film that was supposed to hit screens four years ago, but this script is outdated even for 2017. Satyadev performs well, as always, but if only he picked better scripts. Priya Lal tries but fails to pour life into her character. Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Yadamraju, Prabhakar and other cast are good enough in their roles. Guvva Gorinka seems like a wasted opportunity that fails to make a mark..

Guvva Gorinka' falls flat with a story that is shockingly childish. It's a run-of-the-mill, malnourished rom-com that hides its pointlessness behind lazy quirks and an 'Avunu, Valliddaru Ishta Paddaru!'-type premise..

On the whole, Guvva Gorinka is a rom-com that is filled with silly and over the top scenes. Lack of basic conflict points, unrelatable emotions, and logical issues are huge drawbacks. Satyadev is the only solace of the film but he too should forget this film like a bad dream and move on as there is nothing worth raving about in this predictable and boring love story..
