ShadowRaghubabu(Nagababu) is an undercover journalist. To know the details of Mafia operations in India, he joins in their group and prepares a report named ‘Shadow.’ He gives it to his brother-in-law Surya to get printed at a press. Press owner Sayaji Shinde sells it to mafia. Mafia leader (Aditya Pancholi) kills Raghuram. In this situation Raghuram’s son Rajaram (Venkatesh), wife and daughter (Madhurima) split away. After growing up, Rajaram starts killing mafia leader, his men and the police officer (Nagineedu) who helped mafia. Meanwhile, psychologist (MS Narayana) and his student Madhubala (Tapsee) meet him. On the otherside ACP (Srikant) tries to curb mafia activities and catch Shadow. When Shadow enquires about him, he gets to know that ACP is his brother-in-law. From then on, he closely follows ACP and saves him. Can’t you guess, which way a routine story like this will go? It ends by punishing the guilty..
Shadow is the kind of a movie where the heroine enters the villain's den and does an item number along with the hero before the hero traps him. If you seriously have any hopes from such a film, go on and watch it. For the rest, stay clear of even the sha.
It is clearly visible that so much money was spent on the film, locations are on grand scale, and there is certain amount of style too. But does that really matter, when there is no substance… I go with just one and half stars for this film, though I li.
Shadow has everything right going its way except a good screenplay, which is nothing but a blend of comedy and action getting misfired. The director has failed in executing his ideas in crispy way. However, it is good entertainer, which will appeal both c.
Shadow’ is a terrible film. Despite the presence of someone as talented as Venkatesh in the lead, poor direction and bad writing end up driving the film into the ground. Meher Ramesh must realise that style without substance will never work..
