Amma Cheppindi The film's story revolves around Bose (Sharwanand), a mentally underdeveloped youngster. His family includes his father, who is a scientist in a rocket center, his mother (Suhasini), who dotes on him and his academically bright brother. Bose is considered to be dumb in the residential township and he is looked down upon. When Inter-Services Intelligence plans to bomb the rocket center during a prominent event, Bose helps the township and the country with his heroic deed as his token of appreciation to his doting mother..

Gunnam Gangaraju adroitly crafts a poignant story of a retarded child. His dexterity is clearly discernible with the attention he pays to the details. Not a single shot is unwanted or illogical. There isn't even a whiff of ''typical filmy tone'' in t.

First half of the film is pathetically slow. The last 10 minutes of the film is very good and it makes you cry. The plus points are novel story idea, climax, some original moments and Sharvanand’s performance. Negative points are slow placed narration, .
