Majaa Govind (Manivannan) is a thief who has two children: Aadhi (Pasupathy) and Prasad (Vikram). Years go by and the two, Aadhi and Prasad, decide to stop stealing and mend their ways and lead a hardworking life along with their father. They migrate to a neighboring village and meet a retired agricultural officer, Chidambaram (Vijayakumar) who is in deep debts and is under pressure from the village landlord, Rayudu (Murali) to clear his debts. In efforts to help Chidambaran, Prasad confronts Seetha Lakshmi (Asin), Rayudu's daughter, who comes to collect the money Chidambaram owes her father. Seetha starts to take a liking for Prasad but keeps it to herself. In an attempt to teach Rayudu a lesson, Prasad forcibly marries Seetha. Rayudu, realizing his daughter's love for Prasad, decides to give his blessings and get them married properly in a grand wedding. Just when things start to go smoothly, Seetha's Uncle (Biju Menon) comes to town and disrupts the wedding as he wants to marry Seetha to inherit her fortune. Now, Prasad has to defeat Seetha's evil uncle to save the damsel in distress and ofcourse, save the day!.

First half of the film is entertaining with good sprinkling of humor and neat screenplay. The second half goes on predictable line. Climax of the film is a let down. The plus points of the film are Vikram's performance, Pasupathi's romantic thread and B.
