Mahankali (2013)Mahankali (Rajsekhar) is a sincere police officer who never arrests anyone but kills. Madhurima is an actress who is rescued by Mahankali when a goon tries to harass her sexually. Impressed with the guts of our hero, she falls in love with Mahankali. After a couple of incidents, Mahankali suddenly turns as a puppet in the hands of a mafia don against whom he was fighting for some years. Except for Rajasekhar and few scenes in the first half Mahankali is a total let down. It may appeal to audiences who look for C grade mass movies. Rest can safely stay away from this endless torture.

Mahankaali is a routine and boring cop saga. A powerful performance from Rajasekhar and some nice moments in the first half are the only plus points. The film may find some support at C center theatres but it is unlikely to find any encouragement from A a.
Overall, Mahankali is an average fare, which shows shades of several encounter Telugu movies in the past. If you are a die-hard fan of Rajasekhar watch it. Otherwise you can give it miss..
