Ramachari Eedo Pedda GudhachariChari (Venu) wants to become a police officer. He will be striving to achieve his ambition. On the other end, a Bhai, staying in a jail, plans to eliminate CM Harishchandra Prasad(Balayya). Chari spoils Bhai’s efforts to kill CM without his knowledge. Commissioner Chadda (Murali Sharma) collides with Bhai in CM’s murder plan. He finds out that Chari is spoiling the attempts on CM. By developing a grudge on Chari, he spoils Chari’s efforts to get into police. He humiliates Chari and scornfully asks, whether Chari is a hero to save CM. Hurt by Commissioner’s humiliating remark, Chari decides to become a hero. He sets up a detective agency Chari & Co and works to trace the gang which wants to kill CM. Did Chari evolve as a hero, did he succeed in saving CM, did he achieve his ambition of becoming a police officer, form the crux of the story..
Director has succeeded in just copying the story. Apart from that he hasn’t shown any brilliance. If he had roped in suitable cast and concentrated on scenes designing, this film would have been much more better. Also as the movie has been completed lon.
Except for one or two very humorous moments, ‘Ramachari’ ends up being quite a disappointment. Issues with the script and bad screenplay spoil the viewing experience. Kamalinee Mukherjee does not help matters either. The film has a very outdated feel.
