Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai DobaraA mafia king, Shoaib, - flamboyant, suave and awe-inspiring, is powerful, connected and rubs shoulders with the rich and famous. He often visits the poor areas where he grew up and on one such visit hewatches a cart race. He takes the winner of the race, Aslam, and the latter's best friendunder his wing. Aslam becomes Shoaib's favourite. There is an attempt on Shoaib's life by his arch adversaries, sparking off a major battle between the two factions. Eventually,his adversaries join hands with a cop, whose sole objectiveis to annihilate Shoaib's reign.
A chance encounter with Jasmine, an aspiring beautiful actress, puts Shoaib in touch with the softer side of himself. Aslam also ends up meeting Jasmine and an awkward friendship develops between them. While Shoaib does everything to woo Jasmeen,Aslam shows her the simplerthings in life.Shoaib and Aslam both profess their love for Jasmeen on separate occasions. When Shoaib sends Aslam to pick up Jasmine, a heartbroken Aslam agrees, without realizing that he is going to pick up the girl he loves, for his mentor.

On the whole, ONCE UPON AY TIME IN MUMBAI DOBAARA! has a powerful second half and the drama/conflict helps the film regain ground, after a shaky first hour. However, the fact cannot be denied that ONCE UPON AY TIME IN MUMBAI DOBAARA! pales in comparison t.
Director Milan Luthria has tried his best in the movie set-up and given us a picture of the 80s, but fails in some aspects. He has focused only on Ashay Kumar. Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara makes gangsters the heroes and for once you don't mind that.
Akshay does the bhai act with flamboyance and mojo. He gets a chance to do what he does best - herogiri (albeit less menacing, more entertaining), with charisma and clap-trap dialoguebaazi. Imran looks too suave for the part, but eventually rolls up his s.
