Bharani Bharani is a family drama with action elements. Bharani (Vishal) is angry young man. His friends fondly call him Cheddodu because he can easily fight with anyone. Moreover he can't tolerate if anyone comments on his uncle Srinivasa Bhoopathy (Prabhu). Bhoopathy's wife Shankuntala Devi (Nadia) doesn't digest Bhoopathy taking care of his widowed sister (Rohini) and her son Bharani. So she walks out of his house and lives along with her father and brother known (played by Vijay Kumar and Nassar). Shankuntala Devi's family known as PVS family then become rivals to Bhoopathy. Meanwhile, not knowing that Shankuntala Devi is his aunt, Bharani runs into a love problem with her daughter Bhanu (Bhanu). The rest of the film is how Bharani brings back his aunt and uncle togethe.
