Biriyani Sudheer (Karthi) is a handsome young fellow who has a special talent for attracting members of the opposite sex. He works in a Tractor company and gets into the good books of a wealthy industrialist named Varadarajan (Nasser). After attending a party hosted in honour of Varadarajan, Sudheer and his friend Parasuram happen to come across a sizzling seductress named Maya (Mandy Takhar). Sudheer falls for Maya’s charms and decides to accompany her for a night of fun. After getting drunk and wasted, all hell breaks loose when Sudheer wakes up in the morning. Maya is nowhere to be seen and Sudheer finds himself trapped in a murder case. He must now fight for his life and get out of a cleverly laid trap. He takes the help of his girlfriend (Hansika) and his buddies. Will Sudheer succeed? What price will he have to pay to come out of this mess? That forms the story of this film..

Biryani will have a mixed views as movie targets on one section of audience and comedy in this flick may not impress many audience out there , But there are many aspects in this film that can make you happy watching. If you are impressed with normal comed.

It is better than Karthi's recent debacles, but nowhere near to his best films too. This is a passable fare if you land up accidentally in the theater screening Biriyani. But if you expect something spicy and tasty you are in for disappointment. Verdic.

In contempt of all the good and bad, ‘Biryani’ can be a worth to watch once on this weekend. The format selected by Venkat Prabhu in narrating the thin storyline might be more adored by Tamil public than Telugu. Overall, this ‘Biryani’ is yummy in.

Hansika will be not seen much in the movie, there will be no much love scenes between karthi and her, as movie will be shown all around Karthi and Premji. At some parts the comedy also didn’t do well, the best part of the movie is the story line and Dir.

First half of the film is slow, interval part is good. Second half is little sluggish, but the climax is good. Thrillers like these give you complete picture only in the climax. For films of this nature, runtime should be less and narration should be to-t.
