Chandamama Kathalu Saradhi is a writer. One day his daughter goes fainted. Then he drops her at her school and makes a move. He starts writing a story putting his daughter in mind. He struggles hard to pick a subject and finally opts to write about eight prominent characters move around him. Venkateswara Rao (Krishnudu) always go crazy about marriage. A college student plans to impress a political leader’s daughter in the name of love, Saritha (Amani) is a widow and her life turns a big headache to her sons and meanwhile, Naresh her ex-boy friend gets back into her life, a village guy’s funny love story with Gowri, Lisa Smith (Manchu Lakshmi) is a model. She turns a drunkard after losing her life with Pruthvi her boy friend, a beggar plans to buy a house worth ten Lakhs with that collection. How did they live their life, why did Saradhi write all these things, how is he related to them, what are twists took place in each and everyone’s life are the features we need to watch on the screen..

Director Praveen Sattaru who has done a couple of love stories in the past has taken a brave decision to make a multiple story format film. Though few stories are well conceived, the main conflict point of the film is related to three stories, there by ma.

In short, Chandamama Kathalu does not offer you a slice of life. And since that was the director’s primary objective, he fails badly in his efforts. Also, the climax is unconvincing and is not in sync with the rest of the story. Bottomline: Unconvincing.

For commercial, formula loving audience who just enjoy songs, action and unnecessary drama, this is not your cup of tea. For the rest of audience who welcome class touch, this is worth a watch once. As there is nothing so bright for lower class center aud.

This film will impress with its premise and fresh appeal. But that is just not enough for it to be a winner at the box office. Director gave a twist at the end by bringing all the characters in the story to life. That is not done in an interesting way. We.

Film has come out with good idea but failed to produce it in clear with screenplay. Title is quite good whereas its narration is not impressive. Anyhow, we need to watch whether it makes some mark at the audience..
