Humshakals (2014) Humshakals movie is the story of the confusion and mayhem that takes place when three individuals have a lookalike of a lookalike, all with the same name. Ashok (Saif Ali Khan) and Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh) are best friends and both are unaware of their lookalikes Ashok (Saif Ali Khan) and Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh), who are also best friends and are unaware of their lookalikes Ashok (Saif Ali Khan) and Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh), who again are best friends. And then there is Mamaji (Ram Kapoor) who is a lookalike of another Mamaji (Ram Kapoor) who in turn is a lookalike of another Mamaji (Ram Kapoor). In short, it's the story of three individuals having triple roles. .

Silly, irreverent humour is always a welcome change. But braindead, childish (sorry children, don't roll your eyes yet) pathetic attempt at funny is not. And I think the only original joke is the fact that Ram Kapoor quit his TV career for this film. Ram .

Although, the director Sajid Khan tried to offer something new with the concept of triple roles in Humshakals but sadly the director has ended up making something below his original capability. All in all, Sajid Khan's Humshakals proved out to be nine tim.

If you're thinking of watching Humshakals, here's a suggestion. Don't do it. There are better things you can do with your money and being swallowed alive by a python is less excruciating than watching Sajid Khan's latest attempt at making a movie..

Humshakals' is a definite head shaker for the reason. It's a movie that makes the audience turn into spectators of a lawn tennis match, shaking heads every time. Ironically, probably this time the audience are shaking heads more for Sajid Khan's lost of t.

With no story or comedy on offer, even Riteish and Ram are unable to save the day for Sajid Khan. Skip this movie if you do not want a bad headache and other after-effects of being tortured. Half a star is all we can afford — may be for Sajid Khan's.
