Pora Pove (2014) The basic story deals with the lives of two youngsters Sri Chaitanya(Soumya Sukumar) and Vikas( Karan). As both these youngsters study in non coeducational schools, they get easily attracted to each other the moment they join college. Twist in the tale comes when Chaitanya comes to know that, Vikas had wooed both her best friends, before falling in love with her. Rest of the story is as to how Vikas solves his problems, and wins his love back..

When a film is titled Pora Pove, then those who venture inside the theatre to watch the film must simply endure what is shown to them. Else, they should walk out whenever they feel like. Luckily, you can walk out whenever you want as it does not compel yo.

Passing with 30 or 40 marks is not the choice of today’s youth. Their aspirations have raised up and are not willing to satisfy below 1st class. Pora Pove lacks the stamina to reach the minimum expected 60 marks..

The songs are good with mesmerising lyrics. The dialogue delivery is okay and music flows well with the movie. The narration of Srinivas is good in parts and could have even more better. There are some funny sequences that make you smile and chuckle. Over.

But the film is a complete bore fest with repetitive scenes and poor comedy. You can’t even watch this on a DVD. So forget about catching it in theaters. Verdict: Stay away, far far away! -.

On the whole, Pora Pove is one film which has absolutely nothing new in terms of concept and story. But the simple way with which the film is narrated is the saving grace. An even more suitable and better star cast, could have made this film a bit interes.
