Sikindar (2014)
The story is set in the backdrop of Mumbai. Where it tells the story of two brothers Raju the gangster and Krishna, his handicapped brother. A crutch exerting Krishna searches for his missing brother in Mumbai. With every character the story goes on to flashback mode. Where Raju bhai and Chandru (Vidyut) are best friends and partners in crime. As they started to develop in underworld, people started wanting them dead. In the meantime, Raju bhai falls in love with Jeeva (Samantha) and in short time they start liking each other. That’s when Raju bhai and Chandru are attacked by their enemies and they assume they have killed the duo partners of crimes. Will Krishna find the real culprits behind the murder attempt? Are Raju Bhai & Chandru dead? What happened to Raju Bhai – Jeeva’s love? Will Krishna succeed in his hunt for his brother forms the rest of the storyline..

Before the film’s release, it was said that Sikander would do for Suriya what Badshah did for Rajinikant. But Linguswamy totally wastes two top stars and all hardwork put in by a promising team.
Watch it only if you are a die-hard fan of Suriya.

Overall, ‘Sikindar’ is an old pickled underworld mafia story with predictable treatment. Lingusamy and Suriya are worth of delivering better and far better movies than this one. It’s a bummer for those Telugu audiences who look at Kollywood with a b.

Sikander is low on content, overhyped and predictable. A lot better film was possible with such a brilliant star cast. On the whole, We couldn’t find a single half engaging-entertaining moment in this cinematic rape perpetrated by Linguswamy. Do tell us.
