Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya (2014) Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya' is a rom-com when both father and son fall in love with the same girl. Gopala Krishna (Ajay) gets married at an early age and had two sons. In his late 30’s he starts realizing it’s the perfect time to turn a new leaf and start over. At the same time, Krishna meets with Sameeta (Sana Maqbool), a young independent girl, an aerobics teacher. In a short time, they turn out to be good friends. But things turn around, when Madhu (Naga Shourya) meets Sameeta. Father and son compete for the same women. Will Gopala marry Sameeta? Will Madhu make his father realize the truth? forms the rest of the storyline..

First part is Comedy entertainer and whereas the latter half gets into serious emotions and sentiments. Had director avoided a bit of drama and lag in the second half, the movie would have been good film. Yet, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya makes for good wat.

First half of the film is nice with entertainment and characters play. Second half should have been handled in a more interesting way. Plus points of the film are first half, Ajay and entertainment. A better screenplay in second half is needed. Producer S.

In all, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya is a good effort both from the director and producer to touch upon a sensitive subject which is in keeping with the times. Bottomline: Laudable effort..

On the whole, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya is a refreshing change from the routine commercial flicks which are coming out recently. Ajay and Naga Shourya’s performance, music and some comedy episodes are basic plus. Even though this film lacks proper narrat.

The director has brilliantly dealt with a very sensitive issue and has complete support from his star cast in terms of their performances. Ajay and Naga’s performances are perfect to the ‘T’ while Indraja made a decent comeback. Producer Sai Korrapa.

First half of the film is very entertaining with a superb interval block. Things slow down and take melodramatic turn in the second half. Nevertheless Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya works because of its charming content and impressive climax sequence. Verdic.
