Joru (2014)
The movie revolves around the actress Raashi Khanna. The story line of the movie was not clear till the interval and the audience were confused about the plot and focus of the movie. There are a few twists and some comic scenes. Some comic scenes are well-timed but some fail to convince the audience. The other two actresses in the movie do not have a strong presence and only add the glam factor in the second part. Sundeep has done a decent job but the story did not demand a lot from him..

Setting aside the commercial outcome of the film, in terms of story and its narration, Joru bores you to the core. It tests your patience with inane comedy scenes which leave you totally clueless. Bottomline: Tiring!.

Overall, Joru is worth a watch. Sundeep Kishan will stay in the industry for few more years owing to his acting, looks, comedy and intimate love scenes with female leads..

On the whole, ‘Joru’ ends up as just an below average entertainer. Too many characters and boring first half are the major drawbacks of the film. Sundeep Kishan and Raashi Khanna’s performance, climax, and Brahmi’s comedy are the saving grace. Fin.
