Yamaleela 2 (2014) The story starts with narration of Yama Loka. Chitragupta (Brahmanandam), the Assistant to Lord Yama, misses much important book Bhavishyavani. It falls at some place in the Himalayas. He along with Lord Yama (Mohan Babu) starts searching to retreat it again. On the other hand Krish (K.V.Satish), a Clinical student is a fun loving guy and enjoys life in his own way. He falls in love with Anandi (Diah Nicholas). They both plan to make a research over the disease Leukemia, which has no treatment till now. In this regard, they go to Kerala to find a solution. There, they come to know that Sanjeevani Seeds are useful in finding a solution for the treatment of Leukemia. But, they are not much available in Kerala. Krish leaves for Manasa Sarovaram in the Himalayas to find more “Sanjeevani Plants” for their research. There Krish finds the Bhavishyavani lost by Chitragupta. After opening it, he knows an important fact about his life and gets worried. Why is Krish so determined to find a solution for Leukemia ? What consequences did Lord Yama and Chitragupta faced for losing Bhavishyavani ? How they got it back from Krish ? To know all these, one has to watch the movie on the screen itself..

While giving a sense of deja vu, Yamaleela-2 mostly looks like a pastchie of a burlesque..

At the box office, it might score points for the visual appeal but other aspects fail to impress so success is doubtful. Bharatstudent verdict: Not as good as the first edition.

Overall, ‘Yamaleela 2’ is no match to the first in series and SV Krishna Reddy is nowhere near to his touch. Never did we see him injecting unnecessary heroism elevating fights or playing sinfully out of the subject. Commercially, there is no need for.

Box Office: 'Yamaleela 2' received more screens (475) than it actual deserve. At the end of the day, Content matters the most to draw the crowds and almost empty theaters were a sign of least expectations on this socio-fantasy flick. This film can't pleas.

With Yameela 2, Krishna Reddy proves that he is still stuck in the 90’s and provides routine entertainment from those days. Mohan Babu’s performance and a well executed first half are basic plus points in the film. If you do not mind watching the same.

Yamaleela-2″ is just the replica of Yamaleela with slight changes. This film is touted to be a good family entertainer with elements like comedy and sentiment. All those audience, who have missed Yamaleela can watch this Yamaleela-2 for a relief this we.
