Asura (2015) Dharma (Nara Rohit) is duty minded and shrewd jailer who always abides the law. One fine day, a dreaded convict named Charlie(Ravi Varma) is brought to his jail to undergo his death sentence. Twist in the tale arises when Charlie plans something big to escape his hanging. How does Charlie go about it ? and Whether Dharma manages to stop him from escaping his sentence forms the rest of the story..

Asura remains as one of the best film in Nara Rohit’s career. On the whole, Asura is an intense thriller with an amazing twists and turns. Overall, it does not disappoint viewers..

Asura' managed better screen count (400-plus) than the other two releases (Singham 123, Andhra Pori). Good first weekend revenues are expected in all the A Centres but how the audience in B & C Centres would embrace the movie is crucial aspect here. -.

As the project is piled up in a shoe-string budget, ‘Asura’ can be a commercially well worked venture to keep the makers in safe hands. Adoration from lower class centers is doubtful while classes are likely to acknowledge the efforts of Krishna Vijay.

This may not be the film that could mint money at the box office as it lacks the entertainment that the majority audiences look out for. It is a sincere and honest attempt that will appeal to niche audience. Nara Rohith has once again come up with a film .

First half of the film is decent. Second half is sluggish. But climax makes up for it. Nara Rohit and sensible direction are plusses of the movie. But, a sluggish second half (which is a common feature in thrillers where some unexpected twist is shown at .

With Asura, Nara Rohit once again proves his taste for different cinema and brings us a gripping thriller yet again. Interesting story line, taut screenplay and a racy first half are huge assets for this film. If you manage to ignore the small hiccups dur.
