Phantom (2015) Phantom movie is about the post-26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorism and is based on Hussain Zaidi’s book “Mumbai Avengers”. Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif were cast in leading roles, as secret agents/mercenaries. The film earlier had a working title as Daniyal Khan, before being titled Phantom. Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif have reportedly learnt Kurdish and Arabic for their roles.  ADVERTISEMENT Story in detail:The movie starts with the real footage of 26/11 post which, Jude aka Daniyal Khan, (Saif Ali Khan) an army officer is seen killing a man and getting arrested by the police since he had left behind his team causing them to be dead.Fast forwarding to the present scenario, when years later, RAW decides to arrest all the people responsible for the attacks. They approach Jude to help them in this mission and in return promise to clear his bad reputation and get a good name in the Indian army.Nawaz Mistry (Katrina Kaif) plays the role of a former RAW agent who is now a counsellor and supplies arms to refugee camps. She helps Jude in his mission and identify all the culprits behind the attacks..

Pritam is on a roll, after an impressive score in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Though the album has no songs that caters to the front-benchers, it definitely has an Afghani Jalebi to rock the discotheques, a Saware for the romantics and a Nachda for the broody kind.

On the whole, PHANTOM is a good action film which runs high on patriotism and will appeal to every Indian worldover. Highly Recommended..

Even though the protagonists fall in love, the good thing about the film is that it avoids degenerating into a romance with unnecessary displays of love and meaningless songs — though Arijit Singh’s Saware at the end of the film is a good listen. Even.

The movie is definitely a Must Watch. Phantom has a brilliant concept and a perfect execution by Kabir Khan. Saif Ali Khan may finally get a block buster in the form of Phantom. The movie will be loved especially by every person who got affected by the 26.
