Dj - Duvvada Jagannadham (2017)
Dhuvvada Jaganadham(Allu Arjun) is a small time brahmin boy who goes against all odds and helps others. Seeing this quality of his, a high-profile cop(Murali Sharma) asks him to become DJ, a man who fights crime in disguise.
This is the same time when Dhuvaada falls in love with Pooja(Pooja Hegde) the daughter of a high profile minister(Posani) involved with yet another crime lord Royyala Naidu(Rao Ramesh) who also operates in disguise.
On the other hand, DJ decides to take on Royyala Naidu in his mission but does not know who he is in actual life. Rest of the story is as to how Duvvada Jagannadham alias DJ manages to finish Royyala Naidu.

Very interesting yet entertaining scenes are going between the hero and villain. DJ is totally using Subbaraju to accomplish his mission.
As the film is heading towards climax Bunny is playing mind game with villains.

Subbaraju enters into the frame...a few funny scenes are going on between Pooja and Subbaraju.

Duvvada Jagannadham looks more like a Shankar kind film with added entertainment, but minus proper foundation in story. Plus points of the film are Allu Arjun’s superb performance, Pooja Hegde, Subbaraju’s delusional comedy, dialogues and action episo.
The film has to cash in on as much as it can in the initial Weeks. Long Run prospects doesn`t look that rosy going by today`s mixed reports. It may end as Average in terms of Box-office Recovery..
Made to a template, 'DJ' is extremely hero-dependent, relying perhaps excessively on Bunny's wide-ranging abilities. Predictability aside, the climax is thusso, thussasya.. leave it. Dialogues in places are enjoyable for sure..
DJ is a regular and commercial cinema. The film may please Allu Arjun fans and mass movie lovers. But, normal audiences may not enjoy this. Overall, the movie may become an above average grosser at box office as it has elements for one section of audience.
DJ Duvvada Jagannadham' goes on regular commercial movie template with the same story of Shankar's 'Gentleman'. Allu Arjun's terrific performance, Harish Shankar's dialogues and Pooja's glam show have worked but the second half doesn't impress. The movie .
It is a routine revenge story which doesn’t reach the expectations. Even though a lot of elements have been added, except Allu Arjun and the music nothing stands out. It’s overall an average movie with limited comedy and unknown background story..
Commercially, DJ Duvvada Jagannadham is sure to connect with B, C order center audience which in fact the fort of Mega heroes. Allu Arjun’s screen presence, Harish Shankar’s dialogues, Pooja Hedge’s glamour are the main positives to pull the film of.
Predictable screenplay, weak direction and too much focus on Allu Arjun have affected the movie negatively. The characterisation of Murali Sharma is also not that effective.
