Vangaveeti (2016)
The story is set amidst two famous rival groups of Vanagveeti and Devineni family in Vijayawada. Vangaveeti Radha(Sandy) is a small time rowdy who becomes huge in Vijayawada. As expected, his growth and popularity are hated by his rival group of Devineni family and they assassinate him with a perfect plan. Rest of the story is all about how the members of both the families end up killing each other..

The cinematography was done successfully. Ravisankar tunes and background score are good. At some places, the film runs with the background dialogues of Varma. Dialogues are just average and production values are fine. On the whole, it is a Varma movie.

Vangaveeti' is that rare RGV film which tastes delicious when the subtleties, detailing and the ambiance are enjoyed. The parts are greater than the whole. Some of RGV's obsessions do disappoint, but overall, it's a sincere piece..

Normal audiences might find it have too much of bloodshed. Though he sounds daring and nonchalant while tweeting aggressively about anything on Twitter, Ram Gopal Varma tried to be politically correct while writing this film. On a while, if you interested.

RGV only has the guts and the knowledge of workings of Vijayawada politics in 1980’s. Given RGV’s fearless nature, it is surprising that he took a very safe / non-controversial path. With too much Gore this movie is a big NO for ladies and kids . Thos.
