Kaashmora (2016) Kashmora(Karthi) is a small time crook who pretends to possess some special powers of taking to the ghosts. He cheats a huge politician and runs away with his money. The twist in the tale arises when he gets stuck in a huge forbidden bungalow which has a past of over seven centuries and also some real ghosts. How does Kashmora gets stuck there ? What is his connection with the bungalow and ghosts ? and where do Nayanthara and Sri Divya feature in this entire set up? That forms the rest of the story..

On the flipside, predictability in climax and screenplay in second half are dampeners. We need to wait and see how audiences are going to embrace a film that has too many genres with the right cast!.

Kaashmora', touted as a dark fantasy, turns out to be an overcooked comedy. A hotchpotch of genres, it loses the opportunity to deliver a serious-minded horror-period-fantasy involving a whole family. It's not as if the comedy holds ground as it oversta.

Overall, "Kaashmora" is not entirely dismissible, nor worth praising. It works to some extent only thanks to comic timing of Karthi. Bottom-line: Con-Mora!.

The makers have spent huge amount of money for visual effects. The film reflected the hard work of the artists and the cameramen. Few scenes should have been trimmed as it feels a bit lengthy. Clarity was also missing in some scenes and few dialogues were.

Kaashmora, a horror-comedy, works in parts. The first half is highly entertaining with right dose of comedy and satire. How babas and the likes con people with their claims is told in funny way with the character of Kaashmora in the first half. But second.

On a whole, Kashmora has few genuine laughs and a story to tell. Also Karthi excelled as an actor. On the flip side it is a flat film without any impactful moments. A better second half would have helped its prospects at the box office. For now Kashmora i.

All in all, ‘Kaashmora’ is one more horror comedy with a fantasy backdrop and war theme. Alone Karthi can be best positive factor in this feebly scripted project made on overflowing production standards..

Kaashmora' is definitely a different subject from routine commercial masalas. Director Gokul has done a good job in mixing comedy and horror altogether. Fantasy element is a bit too much in the climax. Nayantara is so good in her cameo and the sudden appe.
