Thimmiri (2015)Thimmiri movie is a dubbed version of Tamil movie Osthi and it is a hard-hitting, entertaining, emotional narrative that unfolds grippingly in a region that has place only for the fearless.Simbu plays a character with negative shades in the film. His role is that of a corrupt police officer, The film tries to highlight the flaws and loopholes in the system.The film will primarily deal with the unlawful practices in the states of Andhra Pradesh and the involvement of police in it. .
At the box office, this will strike a chord with the mass audience and B,C centres so it will land in profit zone.
Verdict: Typical mass masala flick, not for thinking audience.
Dharani has made it a commercial fare. The filmmaker has stuck to the original without changing the content much. With STR's strong presence and Dharani lacing it up with masala elements in the right mix, 'Osthi' ends up as an entertainer, though cliched .
