Critic Review
Raja The Great (2017) The film revolves around a visually challenged guy Raja (Ravi Teja) who's full of positivity and energy, besides a high level of intelligence. He lives with his mother, a constable (Radhika Sarathkumar), and soon he gets to meet the heroine Anantha Lakshmi (Mehreen), who's hiding by changing her location after being troubled by the villain (Vivan Bhatena) and his gang. As Raja gets close to her, the villain also gets to know her whereabouts, and now Raja has to protect her as well as win her heart. How the visually challenged Raja wins the deadly challenge posed by the evil Villain, and saves his girl, inspired by his mother's motivation and his brainy ways, and ultimately succeeds in love is what Raja the Great is all about ..

All in all, director Anil Ravipudi has dished out another template masala movie with the sole novelty of the protagonist being blind. The first half has time pass elements and Ravi Teja is entertaining but it ends up as quite a predictable fare. Bottom.

If you can ignore the cliched story and the even more conventional villain, 'Raja The Great' may work for you. For all the claims to be logical in every way, the blind male lead is still unrealistically heroic. Live with that and enjoy some comedy scenes.

Director should have presented the clash between the hero and villain in an entertaining and novel way rather treating it like a masala affair. One would expect minimum logic with a blind protagonist. Anil Ravipudi has simply taken it for granted and trea.

Raja the great’ is a forced mass comedy which succeeds only in parts. While Ravi Teja did his best with his trademark timing, the poor story line and illogical scenes play the spoilsport. You may watch it at your leisure, if you can bear with the afores.

With good music and Cinematography proving to be assets to Raja the Great, the Director must be applauded for not placing over the top stunt sequences and making the stunts appealing, besides also avoiding unwarranted songs or unnecessary glam shows. With.
